Welcome to Casa Paraíso de la Luz! Please read our booking policies and house rules carefully. They help ensure a comfortable stay for everyone and protect our houses, gardens and surroundings. The house rules apply to all overnight guests and approved visitors.

 

Payment Policy

The agreed total price includes final cleaning.

A deposit of 50% of the total price is due when the booking agreement is concluded. The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 28 days before the agreed arrival date.

For bookings made 28 days or less before arrival, the full amount is due immediately when the booking agreement is concluded.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be submitted in writing, for example by email. The cancellation date is the date on which Casa Paraíso de la Luz receives your cancellation.

• More than 28 days before arrival: a cancellation fee of 50% of the total price applies.

• 28 days or less before arrival, or in the event of a no-show: a cancellation fee of 100% of the total price applies.

Any costs saved because final cleaning is no longer required will be deducted from the cancellation fee. Payments already made will be credited towards the cancellation fee, and any excess will be refunded.

These conditions do not affect any mandatory statutory rights you may have.

 

Official Travel Restrictions & Force Majeure

If binding official travel restrictions legally and effectively prevent you from travelling to the property, or if documented events of force majeure prevent us from providing the booked accommodation or prevent its use, we will generally issue a credit for payments already made directly to Casa Paraíso de la Luz for the affected services that could not be provided.

This credit can be used for a replacement stay within 24 months of the originally agreed arrival date. Alternative dates are subject to availability. Any price differences will be agreed before the booking is changed.

 

Personal Travel Disruptions

Flight cancellations, delays or generally difficult travel conditions do not, on their own, qualify as official travel restrictions and do not automatically entitle guests to free cancellation or a credit.

Unless a statutory exception applies, the cancellation policy above remains applicable.

 

Lead Guest & Other Guests

The person who made the booking is our main contact during the stay and should remain reachable. They are responsible for informing all accompanying guests and visitors of the house rules. All guests are responsible for following them.

 

Occupancy & Visitors

Only guests registered in the booking may stay overnight. The agreed maximum number of overnight guests must not be exceeded.

Additional overnight guests and day visitors require our prior approval.

Subletting or transferring the booking to another person is not permitted without a prior written agreement.

 

Use of the Property

Please use only the houses included in your booking and the shared and outdoor areas made available to you. Respect other guests’ privacy and do not enter other accommodation or areas marked as private.

Treat the buildings, furniture, equipment and gardens with care. Beds and large items of furniture may only be moved with prior approval. Indoor furniture and furnishings must not be taken outside.

 

Private Stays, Events & Commercial Use

The accommodation is intended for private holiday stays. Parties, events, and stag or hen parties are not permitted.

Commercial use, including retreats, classes, professional photography or film production, requires a prior written agreement. External service providers may only enter the property by prior arrangement.

 

Quiet Hours & Music

Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 08:00.

At all other times, please keep music and noise at a level that does not disturb other guests or neighbours.

 

Smoking & Fire Safety

Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside all buildings. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Please fully extinguish cigarettes and dispose of them properly.

Fireworks are prohibited throughout the property.

Open flames, fire pits, candles, incense, and cooking or heating appliances brought by guests may only be used with our express prior approval. Any approved flames and cooking facilities must be supervised at all times. Official fire and barbecue bans must be observed.

Smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and other safety equipment must not be covered, switched off, removed or altered. Escape routes and exits must remain clear.

 

Alcohol & Illegal Substances

Responsible alcohol consumption is permitted. Disruptive or dangerous behaviour is not acceptable.

The possession and use of illegal drugs are prohibited throughout the property.

 

Children & Pets

Children are very welcome. Parents and accompanying carers must provide age-appropriate supervision, especially around the pool and in outdoor areas.

Pets are allowed only with our express prior approval. Please mention any pets when making your booking enquiry. Any agreed conditions for their stay must be followed.

 

Pool & Outdoor Areas

There is no lifeguard on duty.

Children, anyone who cannot swim confidently, and anyone who requires assistance must be continuously supervised by a responsible adult both in and around the pool.

Glasses, glass bottles and other breakable tableware are not permitted in the pool area. Please do not run along the pool edge, push others or engage in dangerous games. Diving headfirst is prohibited.

Please also follow the pool rules and opening hours displayed on site.

Guests must not operate or alter pool equipment, irrigation systems, solar installations, electrical systems or other technical infrastructure themselves. Please report any problems directly to us.

 

Kitchen & Provided Equipment

Please leave the kitchen, dishes and appliances clean and tidy after use. Never leave cooking unattended. Store food in a way that does not attract animals.

Use recreational and sports equipment, as well as any provided yoga mats, blankets or cushions, with care. Return them clean to their designated places after use.

 

Cleanliness & Waste Disposal

Please keep the accommodation and shared areas clean throughout your stay. Dispose of waste regularly in the designated bins and follow the waste-sorting instructions.

Do not put toilet paper, wet wipes, sanitary products, food scraps, oils or other waste into toilets or drains. Please use the appropriate waste bins.

 

Keys & Access

Keys and access codes must not be shared with unauthorised persons. Copying keys is prohibited.

Please close and secure windows and exterior doors when leaving the accommodation. Report lost keys and any access or security issues immediately.

If keys are lost due to a guest’s fault or negligence, we may charge the necessary and documented costs of replacement keys or, where required, replacement locks.

 

Water, Energy & Electric Vehicles

Please use water and energy responsibly.

Air conditioning and heating may only be used with windows and doors closed. When leaving the accommodation, switch off lights, air conditioning and appliances that are not needed. Refrigerators and other appliances that require continuous power must remain switched on.

Electric vehicles may only be charged at the designated charging station and by prior arrangement. Charging from household sockets or through extension cables is prohibited. Any charging fees will be communicated before use.

 

Damage & Maintenance Issues

Please report any damage, faults or excessive soiling immediately so that we can address them. Do not attempt to repair technical systems yourself.

Guests are liable, in accordance with applicable law, for damage caused by their fault or negligence that exceeds normal wear and tear.

 

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: between 16:00 and 20:00.
Check-out: by 11:00 on the day of departure.

Any alternative arrangements require our express prior confirmation.

Please leave the accommodation tidy when you depart:

• Wash all used dishes.

• Dispose of your waste.

• Remove any food you brought with you.

• Return all keys as agreed.

Standard final cleaning is included in the total price.
